I have a visioneer 7100 USB scanner that runs fine on my win98 machine.

If I run on xp it scans, but I don't have the paperport s/w that was installed on the win98 machine. So it deadends after the scan.

There does not appear to be a drive on Vista for this scanner. I have Vista Home edition.

I use primarly to scan photos and documents - occasionally and prefer to not buy another scanner for the little use it gets.

I would like to use the scanner on both xp and vista.

Any suggestions ?
