Hi I am running Windows 7 on my hp laptop and had recently setup a dual boot with Ubuntu. I wanted to get rid of the ubuntu partition so i went into the disk management utility and deleted the volume i had created and installed Ubuntu on and restarted my computer and now i can't boot back to Windows anymore. Luckily i have a usb drive with Ubuntu on it so i can boot to it and access the internet and my windows files. My question is did i totally mess up my system by doing this and will i have to reinstall my windows os to fix this? Or if anyone can help me without doing that i would appreciate it.

Thanks

Thanks but i ended up just reformatting my drive.

In my idea You have need to create two primary drive. Then you can install both operating system in one of them.
