I now have a second computer and I have a question regarding copying programs from my original computer to my new one.

Whenever I have tried to copy a program from one computer to the other all I seem to be copying is the "shortcut" to the program (which, of course, does not work on my new computer).

This is probably a simple procedure yet it has me stumped.

Any suggestions on how to copy programs from one computer to another when there is no CD or internet link??

You can't copy program or application you need to install them. Data files yes.

Install them from their original cd's and all will work well!
