I have HP Pavilion dv6516tx Entertainment Notebook PC.
It came with vista premium.
Now i want to install Window 7 on it.

How to take backup of hardware drivers ie the hardware which are in NoteBook?

Do you want to put windows 7 32bit or windows 7 64bit on it? It can run either but I would recommend 32bit as it has far less compatability issues than the 64bit. The 64bit version is however a little quicker.
If you go with the 32bit version then you can use all the vista 32bit drivers from the HP website. 64bit could be more of a problem with drivers unless HP have them on their website.
You may encounter 1 or more "unknown device" when installing windows 7. These will be things like card reader, bluetooth, and extra keyboard buttons. You will find drivers for those on the HP website.
