Got her fixed. The GPU had lifted off the mobo & sent it off to have it repaired.
The only problem now is it's boots up to Vista Home Premium real slow. It has only 2-512mb chips 1 gb of ram so maybe I need to try 4 gb instead like i've read online you can possibly do that being it's specs are 2 gb max only.
Just want to use it for the net & not playing games & I might just let my wife use it for her getting on her FB profile page which is all she does instead of me. I have my own Gateway M465E laptop which by the way is a gret onre at that with hardly any problems. I'm a programmer myself. Not very many programs launching at startup either except the sidebar.
