i have a cable intenet connection but any time i go to download anything it has a 30-40kbs download time. what can i do to fix this? :?:

try a speed test from here...

the speed results from downloading all depend on the server too... just because you may have a fast connection doesn't mean they can send that fast.

dial up speeds are around 10 to 12 if your lucky. they usally average around 8

any who, try the speed test a few times... if its coming up short here. there maybe a problem with your line... (use a server with a low load level)
