I have 3 monitors attached to my video card, but only two show up and are mirrored not extended, When I go into the display settings their is no identify option and it only shows one monitor as being connected. Any ideas where to begin?

you can try using the control panel that comes with the drivers for the video card. XP by default doesn't have the info to know about multi-monitors. If it's AMD then get the Catalyst Drivers and if it is NVidia get thier drivers. Once you install the drivers you should then be able to see each screen. If you are hooking all 3 monitors to the card, the drivers should take care of you. If you are hooking 2 to the card and one to the MB you may be out of luck on the 3rd monitor.
In short, download the drivers from thier website, reboot, and then look at the properiess page.
