Thats what IE shows in the address bar when I load it. If I change it in settings to anything else it will change back after restarting XP. I looked at it in regedit and it looked normal to me. Changed all search and address bar settings to www.msn.com but to no avail. I recently removed ISearch. Maby I deleted something in the registry that I shouldn't have.

This is the only place I altered, besides uninstalled programs.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

My suggestion is to delete ur internet cookies :) get ur internet on a diet as i would say? ok dont mind what i just said, lol. Then, try to update your current explorer using windows updates :). Then, change your homepage to www.msn.com, press apply. If none of these help you out, let me know, i have a few more solutions

I delete cookies on a regular basis. I tried said methods including regedit before I came here.

Try Ad-aware, and all the "usuals." How did you remove Isearch before?

Download HijackThis from http://209.133.47.200/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe & unzip it into it's own, permanent folder, not a temporary one. Start HJT & press the scan button. When the scan is finished the scan button will change to save. Save the log to a text file & paste it into the body of your post. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET.

I found this site when I wanted to get rid of ISearch. Someone installed it on a normaly clean and fast system. I followed what you guys said to do and it was fully removed. Thanks for the program.

Wild Tangent should be uninstalled unless needed by games on your comp.

R0 Keeps coming back after being deleted.
IP related entries removed from view.

Obfuscated??? What does it mean???

If the RO's keep coming back make sure you have closed ALL (browser) windows B4 fixing with HJT. Or you may want to try this.
Download CWShredder from http://209.133.47.200/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe & run it. Select the fix button & it will get rid of everything related to CoolWebSearch. Close ALL other programs including IE before running CWShredder. Reboot after doing this & post another log please.

I understand the prefix part. But isn't O16 for Real Player? I think I'll uninstall it anyway, Real Player sucks.

All the 016's are safe to delete as they can be re-downloaded the next time you go to the relevant site. That particular one that caperjack caught is spyware from Netster.
