Whenever I use Internet Explorer (or, AOL Explorer which is basically the same thing) to access certain websites, it closes itself when java is prompted to load (chatrooms that use java). I had the problem with IE6, so I got IE7 and still have the same problem. I've tried uninstalling, and then reinstalling java but that didn't work. Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?
The only thing I can think of, is that it started happening after I uninstalled Java (I forget why) while IE was running Java for the chatroom in the backround. A Message popped up saying that I should close IE and I ignored it (I'd never done that before, wanted to see what would happen....stupid, computer illiterate me) and went on with the uninstallation. Now whenever I try to go to the chat, it closes.....
