Hello, I need this within 3 hours. I am getting a headset. The problem is I use skype to make podcasts. I want to use this headset but also be able to record. I used to record with my microphone built-in coming from my speakers. But now the speakers will not be as loud and I do not think the microphone will pick them up. Can someone please help me? I need some software that will pick up the sound coming through the headphones but doesn't need to hear it into a microphone. Please reply quickly!

I am not sure about the software but here is an idea:

If you have two sound cards or one onboard sound chip and one sound card which most pcs do these days you can plug your mic into the onboard sound card and set skype to receive audio input through this. You can then set skype to output through your soundcard which you plug your speakers into. I hope this solves you problem.
