I tried googling this, but couldn't find anything resourceful. Can someone please tell me how to get Vista on some DVD/R discs ? This is very important ! Thanks.

well, you can make an iso of your system.

i think he means a backup copy of his vista dvd.I dont think you can as its dual layer and has Copy protection

Thanks for the replies guys.

What I meant was pretty simple, I just want to have Vista on some DVDs in case I lose it.

I pretty much want my OS on a disc(s)

like i said. Ther licence agreement says you can make (1) ONE copy for backup but MS doesnt make tis an easy task as the Vista DVD is actually about 8gb as its dual layer so you will need a dual layer compatible burner and discs
