i have just started having trouble with my pc it will boot the motherboard settings so i can go into the bios etc. and as soon as it comes to the windows boot, it will display nothing when it should...

Can you boot in safe mode? Have you tried booting with a boot disk such as Ultimate Boot CD and running a check disk? Do you ever see the Windows splash screen? Please provide some more info as to what it will do and what you have tried.

i have used the windows boot cd and nothing comes on the screen at all. i have not tried safe mode yet i have been away and will try tonight.There is no mention of Windows splash screen. i think it might be my hard drive but i have not gota nother pc to test it on.
