Dear people,

Can someone please explain the differences between Exciters and Access Points based on your own experience, usage and project experience?

Currently, I am embarking on a RFID tag detection application.

PS: Is any familiar with Cisco products like Wireless Control System, Location Appliance, Wireless LAN Controller? Before I post questions on them? I mean, where do I post such questions. Is Networking Hardware Configuration a good place?
