I have just bought a Prolink Wireless Broadband Router WGR1004, these are the things that is linked to this router:
1) PC(WinXP Pro SP2)(Network Cable)
2) ADSL Modem(Network Cable)
3) Twinhead Notebook(WinXP Home SP2)(USB Wireless Card)

The internet works fine within the PC and notebook. And my problem is:

1) my msn messenger was unable to connect, i've tried to change the MTU settings into 1492 and it doesn't help either.

2) is there any way to set up network between my PC with notebook through my router(which the PC is connected through LAN and notebook is connected through WLAN)? If yes, can you please kindly write out the steps?
