I just tried to get into my NAS through my dyndns account. I got a 403 forbidden message. I have never seen this before and don't know how to fix it. Anyone care to help? Thanks.

403 is generally a permissions issue. I would verify the credentials

401 is also used for authentication issues. Check the URL you are trying to access. It may be incorrect and you are trying to get to a page that the web server service does not alllow access to, for instance a directory in the web site structure.

here is a list of http status messages:

I have seen 403 recently when I forced my web server over to only allow Https and not http.

So I would make sure your login URL starts with https:// and not http
