i am upgrading to a gigabit network and don't wan to buy a router or switch. i intend to use a server with a built in ethernet port conected to my cable modem and 4 airlink gigabit pci cards. two of the cards in the server conected to two other computers with the remaining cards.
i just can't seem to get it to work. the airlink cards won't run with the on board lan card? is this even possible? i was able to get a similar configuration working using a 10/100 network, that's why i'm trying it with my new set up.
any help would be great, i'm lost
