Ive recently had my harddrive changed and reformated windows. Now Ive been having a problem where ill be surfing the net normally then suddenly my connection will just seem to stop. Ive gone to run/ipconfig and it says it still has a IP. Then when i tell it to renew it gives me back an error. The only way i can fix it is by restarting my comp but its getting very annoying. Could someone please help me out.
Jump to Posti'm certain that the reformatted drive has nothing to do with it, but maybe a setting has changed. It depends on which browser you use, but check the proxy settings, and the workoffline settings.

do you use outlook express?
Its not just the browser its happened on EI and on firefox, and im not using netscape.
