So recently my friend purchased a new speaker that didn't work. It had an audio jack and a micro usb port. It claims to have wireless capability, but I haven't inserted batteries. It is connected via usb. It looks like a small black box, and doesn't have a standard speaker. Instead, there are two steel discs on the side. I was going to unscrew an area to have a look inside when it produced static noise (I didn't continue to pry) so it is capable of producing sound. It doesn't at all show up as a device (not on any type of usb port) but a blue light indicates power is on. There is a CIBC Aventura logo, but that is all. What is this speaker and how do I get it to work?
