I dont have any particular things im looking for at the moment beyond info to learn more about apps i should consider for things such as bookkeeping or invoices. id like to learn whatever i can. Any personal picks or even resources to look at for myself would be great. i get lost in all the choices!

What scale are we talking about? I know a small business that whips up their invoices on Excel sheets. Another uses QuickBooks and the big companies I've worked with outsource it to big accounting firms with Cloud based apps for employees and vendors.

Not just scale, region is also a factor. VAT tariffs for one are very localized and specific.
