in my vast experience with malware and viruses, I download Malwarebytes from another computer to a flash drive. then I make sure the infected computer is off the network or internet and install Malware on it. then after it has installed on said computer run a complete scan and it should help you. you can also try AVG free download which is very good with viruses and malware. you can even try the AVG Pro for 30 days from the site which won't cost you a thing and it should not cost anything. the same thing is done download from a different computer to a flash drive. you can even you both if you want.

does the wireless disconnect or does the wireless actually turn off like when a breaker are flipped and you have to turn it back manually to use. Also does it give any kind of message or does not. also what kind of computer is it and its year.

I would ask your tech friend to check the IP address and dns suffix he should know this and maybe check on the wireless configuration so it can automatically obtain the IP address. Also what kind on computer is it Mac? PC? and what kind of browser are you using? it could also be some problem with the browsers setting if you are using more than one browser on you computer with different settings.Hope it helps.

Why do you need to uninstall TrendMicro to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7?

well when I was upgrading to w7 it said trend micro had to be removed. when i put i the password in trend I put it so there couldn't be any changes to os so of course when w7 tried to change vista it got canceled and aborted upgrade. so I am trying to fond a way to remove trend and bypass password request. is there any to do this?

This is Daniel's friend, let me explain more about the situation. The computer was working just fine, custom built and was running perfectly for a solid 3 years. We have concluded it could be damage to the harddrive but we're not 100% sure about this. Here's what happened before it crashed.

1) Computer has not been turned off for an entire week and CPU usage on the day before the problem kept spiking back and forth from 0% to 100%

2) Was used for gaming on high standard graphics which raised the CPU temperature to 45 degrees Celsius. Right now, it runs at 25 degrees Celsius but it won't start.

What happens is after the computer is turned on, it makes a beeping noise (which it always does) signaling that the computer is booting up. Before it even gets to the XP loading screen, it will restart in the middle of the CPU boot system. Entering BIOS will still end up causing the reboot as well as booting from a CD, showing that the damage is internal. The computer had no viruses before this problem, and it can't be a virus problem anyways.
