Re: If you've got access to the restore partition, I wouldn't even worry about reformatting the linux partition as the recovery partition will handle all that. I'd just boot the restore partition and let it get to work. :)
So after using system restore to restore to an earlier point that I hadn't seen before (Sept when only Oct was showing earlier), it rebooted asking me to log in--except there were no accounts to login with! The only account I had was the Administrator account, and it was setup …
Re: If you have a plug for your keyboard, try using a usb keyboard instead. The socket may have failed. But be warned! Other sockets may also start to fail after a period of time. As long as you can get around them, you can still keep working. I've got a …
I'm sure there is a really, really simple way to solve this issue. I'm just not a programmer so I don't know it off the top of my head. I have this script ext.php that accepts a variable ref. It works like http://ext.php?ref=http://site.name The problem is that there is also …
Re: Revver has been doing revenue sharing in videos for a while now. I think this is just youtube's reaction to services like these. Social networking has always been advertising driven, so if they don't have enough revenue and the technology mades video advertising a reality, then they'll do it.
Re: The uncontrolled and adhoc nature of the social networking sites is what can be fearful to those trying to establish brands, regular clients, etc. These type of services aren't geared towards business, so you're having to take a product designed for personal use and try to mold it into a …
Re: I'm not a programmer, but I have a coding problem in front of me where I think this snippet could help. I go to a particular link and it returns a random image via a url to that image. I don't want the image--I want the url to the image …
I'm not a programmer, but I did study C for a while. I can figure out how to find functions, look at their syntax, see examples and then try them. So here's my siutation. I want the url of the output of a web site into a php variable. Here's …
Re: I wouldn't get too discouraged by the lack of responses here. With such a large and vast community, you can easily see 1000 attendees or more. I'm one of those 50,000 that gets on here every so often, but pretty rarely. With Huntsville Car Scene, which is my web site …
I've done some searches and haven't come up with anything on this subject. Here's what I'm trying to do and I believe it entails making an image being used as a background on a table into a link. Here's what the page looks like:http://www.huntsvillecarscene.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14 You see the header at the …
I'm using the following function to modify tags used for mouseover text:
function delHoverX() { re = /(\bdsc00001\b)/i; imgTags = document.getElementsByTagName("img"); for (i=0; i<imgTags.length; i++) { if (re.test(imgTags[i].title)) { origTitle = imgTags[i].title; origAlt = imgTags[i].alt; imgTags[i].title.replace(re, "$1"); imgTags[i].alt.replace(re, "$1"); if (origTitle == imgTags[i].title && origAlt == imgTags[i].alt) { imgTags[i].title = "same"; …
Hi. I use some seriously antiquated hardware to run my picture and video servers for my site Huntsville Car Scene.com. Each server runs Win95 osr2 with MS Personal Web Server 1.0a. One is a Pentium Pro 180 with 32MB ram. The other is a 486dx33 with 24MB ram. They work … |
The End.
