For C style strings there is <string.h>'s _strrev() and for C++'s strings there's <algorithm>'s reverse().
_strrev() is generally provided in most compilers.

You'll need the newest version of MinGW to compile, I used options -O2 -Os -s.

It's a habit from passing larger container objects, and pow() just takes the fun out of even bothering to click on the editor.

Compiles fine in MinGW. The fist thing that comes to mind, when you say it's not compiling, is that you're using an older compiler that doesn't have stdint.h; or it's not letting you compile with warnings, in this case the double to unsigned int casting.

Got bored, remember a question asked in the forums, and decided to try something similar.

You could just shove this in a class and overload the operators to do your operations, and to save time store the value as an integer till a call request the value in its HEX forum.

Poorly formatted, do not use conio.h, it's int main() not void main() it has to have a return value; try fgets() and specify the buffer size, and what do any of those variable names even mean?
