Turns out you'll need a floppy drive to install it, Quick Launch may have been cut to save room for MS Fax, Explore is simplistic and uncluttered but lacks thumbnails and such, as well, you may need a land-line to access some features.

Over all, it's blazing fast, if you don't mind the constant crashes or hardware incompatibility.

It's also been implemented on many other sites successfully, such as Youtube, StackOverflow, Digg, and many more.

YouTube is the worse example possible, since if you've ever delved through enough video comments, you'll notice that: anyone who post something with thought, but in any tone disagrees on a single aspect will be down-voted in a swarm; all the while, if a user post the most retarded single liner comment such as, "'b4nd xxx' ftw" or possibly(more than likely, really) things even more idiotic they receive a swarm of up-votes.

Of course, most YouTube'ers best forms of argument lie with words such as: gay, f**, and (.)(.)

First you people want a non-destructive rep, then you got one, then you hate it. Make up your minds people! :P (j/k)

In a mockingly descant voice, "A lot of room for abuse there, right cscgal?" He ended his question with an insidious wink and nudge. Then left to down-vote every single insightful comment on the web with a similar system, from the safety of nine-thousand sock puppets.

Is this about how I how I was a bad internetmate? I mean I'm sorry about the time I dropped your toothbrush in the toilet, and forgot to tell you about it.

Pity you feel the need to leave, you were a sort of comedic relief. Not many of those left, you know? :'(

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

int main() is missing return(0);
Which is what would terminate you program, as well.

btw, You don't need system("pause"); cout <<"Slam on your keyboard."; cin.get();

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

It's all bundled together now.

I'd like to learn electronics more. So that my programs are all just a series of resistor-transistor logic gates, and other low-level awesomeness.

Then I'd like to learn chemistry and physics better. So that I could develop functions on a picometre level.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Sounds a lot like a new fetish.

Guitar, violin, assorted persecutions(meditation balls, spurs, battery clip+old speaker, etc.), synth effects with a chain of guitar pedals, anything that makes noise.

just masturbate.

After [attached pic]? ;)

Although, for some reason, Calvin looks like John Constantine from Hellblazer.

Using dd command to write to floppy disk.

Have you tried any other third party file utilities?

And did you analyze the output with a hexeditor to check if everything went right?

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Plain Jane C, unless you want to waste your time rolling your own port.

I don't have a phone since one would be of no use to me.

I have some Sansa MP3 and a 120GB iPod, but I don't use them that often. Except on the once a week drives I have during the school year. Over the summer I've found a new source of comedy and entertainment, talk radio.

I could easily live without either of those. What I would hate to lose is my light detecting LED nightlight in the hall. Keeps me from walking straight into a closed bathroom door at night.
That would be a true shame to lose.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

uhhhh.... Do you even know C++? No one can help you if you don't even know the basics.

It's <iostream> not <iostream.h>, avoid <conio.h>, and you probably won't need <cmath>.

Now let me freak your mind: You're using Turbo C++, or tutorials for it? Right?

There's a simple bit scanning method you can throw together with the links I posted on another thread: http://www.daniweb.com/forums/thread204950.html

The whole The Monolithic Death Cult - Triumvirate album. Massive stuff.

C, C++, assembly, unadulterated x86 machine code, a Casio fx-115MS with some big-ass books full of tables and some scratch paper.

Does the latter count as a language? I believe it does.

I didn't realize there was distraught fan boys, here on DW, until I read this thread.

First step: What are the specs. of this machine?

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

You mean steps a compiler goes through while compiling a program or???

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Well somehow while not logged in the Current Users Browsing box said that I was logged in twice.

I logged back in and now its just one.

Or it could be that women live longer because they don't like to jump off bridges on a bike, prefer not to destroy things with a pellet gun with the excuse that they can't even pump it, can't fancy blazing trails out in the swamps, and, and, and, and... sigh...
Living with a family of women can be a bummer.

Well, I'm going to go untangle my beard and go raise a bear named Ben.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Well-duh-AD, you're using the wrong distro. You need Dettu[Xx], if you want simplicity.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Actually my spam inbox is down from seeing hundreds to seeing maybe a dozen. Don't know what happened to change that number recently.

Your 4chan accusation is a danger to this site. Any reference to that site could lead to a potential invasion.

What?! People still buy porn?!?!?!?!? I could download terabyte after terabyte of porn, and never pay a penny directly for it.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

South Park topic the from last season.
Perhaps a little crudely presented in the show though.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

That's been there forever.... no-one complained before, actually there's a number of other articles that only pass on a few technicalities.
Anyone who's ever read Encyclopedia Dramatica can point you in the direction of thousands of borderline Wikipedia articles.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

What's wrong with a little porn. ;)

This reminds me of some guy at the library watching porn, and everyone could see it..... but nobody seemed to real drastically care, other than lots of chuckling.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

necrolin it's just:

srand(time(NULL));/*only once*/
  int var = rand()%max_requested_value;
MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Interesting. The only way I remember using bitset is in a template function, with bitset passed the value in its initializer.

By the way, you can use numeric_limits<T>::digits instead of sizeof()

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Wait. bitset has an OR operator? Didn't realize that.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Two version that do exactly the same thing!

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Useless novelty code.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Cheap, dirty code for Windows and *nix.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Or just use XOR 32 to swap the values of a valid range. Ta-da...

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

For C style strings there is <string.h>'s _strrev() and for C++'s strings there's <algorithm>'s reverse().
_strrev() is generally provided in most compilers.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Why would someone sell your code?

Anyway, don't mind if I post my version do you? I haven't written one yet, but I feel like writing one soon.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Take note that, main() must return zero by standard, and conio.h doesn't exist on most compilers.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

What are you talking about?

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Yep, it's: compiler, OS, and machine-arch specific.

Next snippet might related as perhaps a midget-JIT-compiler/runtime-assembler, metamorphic engine or some sort of obfuscator.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

"Hello World!" done a little differently.
Is this safe, unlikely; is there a point to all of this crap, nope; why are parts obfuscated, because I felt like it; was it fun, yes.

You'll need the newest version of MinGW to compile, I used options -O2 -Os -s.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

That would never cure my boredom either.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

It's a habit from passing larger container objects, and pow() just takes the fun out of even bothering to click on the editor.

Compiles fine in MinGW. The fist thing that comes to mind, when you say it's not compiling, is that you're using an older compiler that doesn't have stdint.h; or it's not letting you compile with warnings, in this case the double to unsigned int casting.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Got bored, remember a question asked in the forums, and decided to try something similar.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

You could just shove this in a class and overload the operators to do your operations, and to save time store the value as an integer till a call request the value in its HEX forum.

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Wrong for telling you the C standard; attacking for showing you how to avoid a buffer-overflow - explain how-so?

MosaicFuneral 812 Nearly a Posting Virtuoso

Poorly formatted, do not use conio.h, it's int main() not void main() it has to have a return value; try fgets() and specify the buffer size, and what do any of those variable names even mean?
