None of them are beginner friendly, if you mean easy. VB and C# are easier than C or C++. At one time (several years ago) Borland C++ Builder seemed to be pretty good. I have not used it for several years and Borland has probably improved it a lot since then.

France is a thread to world peace through their support for every terrorist and dictator out there.
That support is not because they actually like those people (I think) but as payoffs so they'll be left alone by them.
Just another way in which France always immediately surrenders when threatened.

That may have been true under Chirac, but he's out of the picture now and a new more pro-American president has taken over. So we might see some reversal of those policies.

looks like you are compiling your program for UNICODE. Turn it off. Prject --> Properties (last menu item in the list), then expand the Configuration Properties and select General. Then on the right side of the screen change Character Set to Not Set

Some of those other warnings say that your program is downgrading a double to a long. You will have to decide which data type you want and either change or typecast it. In some cases typecasging will be ok, but in other cases it isn't. So you will have to make a decision on a case-for-case bases.

Not migrants but illegal migrants -- there is a huge difference. ALL illegal immegrants are criminals by definition. That doesn't mean they all go out and rob/murder/rape someone, just the fact that they entered the country illegally makes them a criminal.

That does not excuse their criminal act of entering the country illegally. Sipping Vodka...

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak.
After mass he asked the Monsignor how he had done..
The Monsignor replied, "When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass.. If I start to get
nervous, I take a sip."
So next Sunday he took the Monsignor's advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink. He proceeded to talk up a storm.

Upon his return to his office after mass, he found the following note on the door:
1. Sip the Vodka, don't gulp.
2. There are 10 commandments, not 12.
3. There are 12 disciples, not 10.
4. Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.

You have to download the Widows SDK and follow the setup instructions that are posted in the download page. Then take a year or so to learn how to write windows programs. Here is a very simple tutorial to get you started. But it would be a lot simpler to learn CLI, C# or even VB. I just don't consider C and C++ to be a very good languages for writing new MS-Windows programs. With Visual Studio 2005 (and future versions too) you can mix and match the different languages to create one program -- such as CLI or C# for the forground windows stuff and c++ for the more difficult background tasks.

Not relavent -- all arrays still start at 0. I'll bet you have something similar. Each course is worth X number of credit hours -- one credit hour for each hour of classtime per week (or something like that). You must accumulate a certain number of credit hours to be awarded a Bachelors degree. The requirements for each college/university is different so you have to check with the school you want to attend. Here are some useful google links to read for more information

Nobody in the western world should want them to succeed at it, unless of course you want to treat women as dirt, stone them to death for disobedience. and ban them from all forms of politics and educational systems. And that is probably only the tip of the iceburg -- see the thousands of bodies in mass graves we found in Iraq. Assuming you have VC++ 2005 Express: First you have to create a project -- File --> New --> Project. After creating a console project the IDE will create a few files for you, including <project name>.cpp and .h. you can edit the <project name> cpp file to include whatever you want, and you can add new files to the project if you wish. Then to compile just select menu items Build --> Build Solution.

Ancient Dragon 5,243 Achieved Level 70 Team Colleague Featured Poster

1. why is a a float? The number of courses can not have fractions -- you can't take 1 1/2 courses can you? And you should use a more descriptive name for that variable and make it an integer.

2. arrays are always numbered from 0 to <number of elements>. The loop at line 13 should be for(i = 0; i < a; i++) 3. lines 18 and 19. array c is a float array. Since you only want to enter whole numbers (1, 2, 3 or 4) then you should make it an array of integers, not floats.

4. average_GPA on line 21 I think is wrong. Isn't the GPA the (sum of all semester hours) divided by (sum of all grades). I think you want to wait until after you get the sums before doing the division.

4. line 21. Put a carrage return after each semicolon. Yes it will compile, but is not good style to have all those statements on the same line, and is more difficult to debug.

isdigit only works with a single character, not a double or int. doubles are always guarenteed to be all digits plus the decimal point so there's no point using isdigit with it. If you want to check that someone did not type a digit then use cin's error method if( cin.fail() )

Depends on how that function is prototyped, is the pointer being passed by value or by reference ? oapiGetFocusShipAirspeedVector(VECTOR3*) or like this oapiGetFocusShipAirspeedVector(VECTOR3*&) The compiler error leads me to believe it is passed by value. But I've also stumbled across times when the compiler was wrong, so its best to just initialize the pointer to 0 anyway.

The second problem, yes Vista takes control of that on/off button so that if you try to turn it off Vista will shut down normally. This allows Vista to save and close all files normally and do other cleanup tasks.
