I don't think it is possible; javascript has no control over the cursor.
4MB is fast enough for gaming (I still ping the same on Counter Strike on 4MB as I did when I was on 512k). The only thing people would use 100MB for is downloading television shows or movies.

I presume you mean SVG. You can use a program like Inkscape (or Adobe Illustrator, Xara Xtreme etc but these are expensive) to create your logo.

Yeah I got one of those cds in a mag and thought this looks interesting.
It promised very little set up, autodetect my graphics card and come with all the codecs for dvds etc. But when I put the cd in the drive it only gets to 35% then crashes.
But apart from that has anyone else used it? Btw I've gone back to ubuntu since open suse 10.2 was just too hard to get to work.
At the mo, I got my internet and my printer working.
Xandros is based on Debian (like Ubuntu) but uses KDE instead of Gnome. I'd guess that installer crashes/problems may have been fixed in later releases. As far as I know the full version of Xandros is not free. If you want a free Debian based KDE distribution I suggest trying Kubuntu or MEPIS (or the latest version of Xandros which I think has a 30 day free trial).

It was suggested that I use 3 tier architecture to seperate the business logic and the presentation layer.
My problem is , how do I use a 3 tier architecture to build a site using php and mysql.Being a newbie, I'd appreciate any help I can get.
I think that seperating the business logic and presentation, rather than being true 'three tier', is more of a MVC structure. I think you should look into Symfony or CakePHP.
Or Rails of course (but its not PHP)

You need to be using the observe field function. If you google it along with tutorial am sure something suitable will come up
Working with unindented and uncommented/undocumented code is a nightmare.
I think that indentation is essential; it makes reading code far easier and helps avoid simple mistakes matching stuff up.
On larger projects it doesn't matter what set of standards you stick to so long as everyone uses them and produces clean readable (and therefore maintainable) code is produced.
My rule of thumb is after every function, if its not obvious what it does at a glance or isn't a one-liner, add a quick comment saying what it does. If needs be give a quick example of use.

My buddy has a problem, his parents put a password on his computer on startup so that he cannot go on his computer while they are not home. Would the best thing to do is to pound F8 until he gets the screen and just log in in safe mode??? Or would that just be for a Windows Password? He has tried looking for a back door password, but I guess he has found a LOT!!!!! Any suggestions??? He is a good guy and he doesn't know why his parents put a password on it, because he didn't get in trouble or anything with the computer.

It depends. Are you called Fred? Do you gamble? Did you know about the company betfred before you registered the domain name?
I'd imagine you did, its a household name in Britain and has round since the 60s - they sponser Manchester United (if you watch a Man Utd home game the advertising boards say 'betfred says ... ' and give live odds for the game).
Anyway, its not just some name you'd make up. You can try to fight for the name like Uzi Nissan (nissan.com) but with a name like betfred, especially if you're name isn't Fred and you're not a turf accountant) will probably be pretty futile.

Hmm... I got both of them fixed, with a little work. I copied the whole directory for Ruby onto my flashdrive, and it works! And for the other, it was SciTE that was hanging it.
Afraid I never tried to run Scite from a flash drive. Have you tried Notepad++? When I was at uni I ran that from my flash cos the text editor installed on the Windows workstations was annoying (so bad that most people just used notepad).
A better question to ask is any programming language worth it? Google suggest gives us a clue. By going to Google suggest and typing in ruby on rails we get around 58,500,000 pages compare this to 21,700,000 pages for python and you can see that by a measure of 2 to 1 ruby is worth it.

Hello my name is chris. I play Counter Strike and Americas Army ocasioanlly. So I have an Idea that would make playing alot easyer, if I could find or make a program that I could open to run, and use task manager to close. I need the program to run a aimer in the middle of my screen just a red dot this way when using rifles I dont have to zoom to aim, and when I run out of ammo I can keep aim and reload. I tried just making a dot on my screen with a marker but when you move the aimer goes off. So it would be greatly appriectated if someone could show me how to make something like that.
Its just a case of practice and using a low sensitivity (I use 1.25).
If you're sat directly in front of the screen you should have no problem lining the middle up with the enemy.
To be honest though, if you do spot one while reloading you're better getting your pistol out and retreating/hiding (while shooting at him of course)

Everybody says PHPMyAdmin is how a useful program. I installed it on my computer. And it gave an error like this :

Is the MySQL server on your computer? If to leave host as 127.0.0.1
Then put your login name and password in. On windows it should have asked you for an admin password when installing; if so leave login as 'root' and put in that password

For MySQL to create/delete tables and browse entries in database you are more likely looking for phpMyAdmin http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php. However because of this little tool you will need to install Apache server and PHP on your pc(if working at home/work with limited resources). Many hosting companies have included this tool in their basic package, or you may request from them to include it.
In case you are learning on your home/work computer you may do separate instalation with help of this tutorial http://apacheguide.org/prerequisites.php, which take you step-by-step trough whole process, or you can go for whole solution from XAMPP http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html which will install everything for you in one go.
Separate instalation = you may learn something new :eek:

Yeah but MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query Browser are better if have straight access to the database. PHPMyAdmin is ok for the odd job if you don't have access on 3306 or whatever.

I think you should use an 'status_id' column and have a table of statuses.
Also, I think you should have a subjects table and a benchmarks table (you have 1-10 but what if in 2 months they want 20?)

Temping is the easiest way to make money during school/college holidays; just make sure you tell them you want office/clerical work. I found I could often do short stints (1-2 weeks) at places covering for people who were on holiday/ill.
If you are applying for joey retail jobs and you have no experience LIE (or at least exaggerate). They won't check. You aren't putting anyone at risk (its not exactly faking medical qualifications). You need to do it the first couple of times to get your foot in the door.
At the end of the day the most taxing thing you'll probably end up doing there is working a till or cleaning up vommit up in isle 4.
