why is that my T3104 emachines desktop only recognizes IDE drives connected to the IDE2 chennel on the motherboard. Currently there is a 100g hard drive, and a dvdrw drive connected and I cant add anything else. Tech support is no help

which would provide better performance 2 gigs running at 200mhz or 1 gig running at 333mhz. both would be in a 3ghz P4 dimension 4700

the caps lock blinks, the power and hard drive indicator come on, the hard drive spins up...then it turns off. Never posts, no fan comes on, no bios screen appears. What can i do? (the keyboard is missing 15 keys lol)
