Hey there,

I'm looking to build a marketplace website and need help choosing the platform i am going to build with.
I hear a lot of recommendations from friends but i would prefer having an answer from dev pros.
I am hesitating between prestashop,magento, wordpress. again, i don't have an idea of what direction i should go with.

any ideas or recommendations would be so appreciated. thanks

I use WP a lot and use woocommerce plug in. However you must choose a theme that's woocommerce compatible. Sometimes that means paying for a theme but there are free ones available. I'm not a fan boy but it's the only one I know and use.

BTW should mention woocommerce has marketplace plugins
