Hi everybody! I´ve used jdk to generate my certificate with the following command: keytool -genkey -keyalg RSA -alias certificatekey -keystore keystore.jks -storepass password -validity 360 -keysize 2048 Everything works fine when I want to digitally sign an e-mail using: import javax.mail.* and import javax.mail.internet.* # and MimeMessage and Multipart. #. However with Apache Commons Email 1.1 creating an email such as the following: HtmlEmail email = new HtmlEmail(); email.setHostName("localhost"); email.addTo("test@mail.com", "Test"); email.setFrom("testapp@mail.com", "Test App"); email.setSubject("Test message"); email.setHtmlMsg("<div style='font-size: 20px; color: green;'>This is html email</div>"); email.attach(new ByteArrayDataSource(pdfBytes, "application/pdf"), "document.pdf", "Document description", EmailAttachment.ATTACHMENT); email.send(); Is it possible to digitally sign this e-mail …

I have a licensed copy Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.0.5. I am trying to digitally sign a .pdf file through the software with a digital certificate downloaded from the CA (Certificate Authority). The signed document says that the signature is invalid. When I use the same token to sign using Acrobat Reader 6, the signature is proper. The signature done through Acrobat Reader 6 are easily validated on any system and any software. I think am missing some setting in Acrobat Reader 11. Please help. Thanks, Joy.

Only recently, I've seen more and more webpages that are violating the US Digital Millenium Copyright Act, via Google's search engine. Am I the only one that's noticing this happening more so recently? It really struck me today when I did a search for web design backgrounds.

I notice that daniweb does not have a forum for logical circuitry :(. Does anybody know a good site that does? Is it possible for logical circuitry to be added to daniweb? I often like to design custom circuits from transistor or gate level and up, and I have never found a decent forum on which to post questions.

Hello, I am working on making myself a digital clock (as a fun little project) and I want to have two buttons, one to increase a value (like the hour) and one to decrease, mainly because I am tired of the clocks where you have to button mash the 'increase' button to bring the hour back down. As such I want to construct an up-down counter that would increment on the rising edge of one input and decrement on the rising edge of another. I have one that increments on the rising edge of the clock if the extra input …

Before I start, sorry if this is in the wrong place and also I am aware that this is not a legal forum and thus I should take proper legal advice but any heads up would be appreciated. Ok, So I am looking to create and host my own website and also host a friends website on my server, both of which would allow third parties to submit content in the form of forum posts and comments. I have been doing some research into this and now I've become terrified of all the laws and potential consequences that I didn't …

Hi, Absolute newbie to cryptography. I'm looking for C++ open source code (to be compiled on Windows, Mac, linux), for doing the following: 1. Generate private+public keys (need not run on all platforms). 2. (server side) Adding a digital signature to an XML document using a private key. 3. (client side) Verifying signature using the matching public key. I envisage the signed XML to look like this:
<root> <creditcard> <number>19834209</number> <expiry>02/02/2002</expiry> </creditcard> </root> <Signature> WvZUJAJ/3QNqzQvwne2vvy7U5Pck8ZZ5UTa6pIwR7GE+PoGi6A1kyw== </Signature>
Thanks in advance, Gil.

I was wondering if it's possible for me to create a Digital Sound Processing (DSP) program using Python. Basically, I don't know anything about how I would do this and I would like somebody to point me in the right direction. I don't want somebody to write code, but I would like someone to point me in the right direction so I have a starting point. If somebody knows a good site on DSP and DSP algorithms (ie. how to edit the sound to get certain effects). If you find something on mixing or how to make an audio editing …

The code I wrote for a digital clock always falls behind the clock in my windows 7 taskbar after being run for like 2-3 mins. Why? Here's the code:
#include <stdio.h> #include <time.h> #include <windows.h> int main() { int h,m,s; time_t epoch_time; struct tm *tm_p; epoch_time = time( NULL ); tm_p = localtime( &epoch_time ); h=tm_p->tm_hour%12; m=tm_p->tm_min; s=tm_p->tm_sec; while(1) { if(s>59) { m=m+1; s=0; } if(m>59) { h=h+1; m=0; } if(h>11) { h=0; m=0; s=0; } Sleep(1000); s++; // trying something I learned (s=s+1) system ("cls"); printf(" %d:%d:%d",h,m,s); } }
I have made a couple of preliminary versions of a web machine as an HTA and as a web dialog plug in for Google's Sketchup. The machine has moving sliders (hence machine) that get populated with names of real objects in a hierarchical structure set by the user's associations e.g. Work> Office> Workstation> Computer> Links> ... The machine reacts to a selection by moving the new associations something like a slot machine. I thought a bit bit of background info might be helpful. The names are stored with their properties in JSON files, read and written by filesystem and ruby …

We would like to offer free downloads of some of our materials but we would like to be able to do the following:

Gather contact information
Send an email within a few days, automatically, as a follow up
Automatically send an evaluation within a few weeks(this could be an email with a link to an online poll on our site)
Does anyone know of a shopping cart that would allow us to set up the automatic emails or is there a better option? Thanks

I am trying to develop a digital map based on the vehicle inertial sensor information. The Map output will be a road course shape on which the vehicle traveled. The map will be based on a fixed reference point. I have speed, yaw rate and time related information. what I tried to do is this----
yaw_angle=m_f32_yaw_rate_s* delta_time*0.0174532; linear_distance=delta_time*m_f32_speed_s; distance_x_direction= linear_distance*cos(yaw_angle); distance_y_direction= linear_distance*sin(yaw_angle); total_yaw_angle=total_yaw_angle+yaw_angle; total_y_direction=distance_y_direction+total_y_direction; distance_x_direction_increment=distance_x_direction_increment+distance_x_direction; temp_keep_2.y=-temp_keep_2.y*cos(total_yaw_angle)-temp_keep_2.x*sin(total_yaw_angle)-total_y_direction; temp_keep_2.x=temp_keep_2.y*sin(total_yaw_angle)-temp_keep_2.x*cos(total_yaw_angle)-distance_x_direction_increment; coordinate_virtual_dm_source .push_back(temp_keep_2);
The value temp_keep_2 contains the X and Y which corrosponds to the Vertical and perpendicula distance from a fixed point, like (0,0). But I think it is wrong. I am not …

I have a reduced function and one of the product terms is: B * C(not) * D + B(not) * C * D. Is that considered an XOR gate? Im aware that B * C(not) + B (not) + C is an XOR gate because When i do the truth table it has the characteristic of an XOR gate, but Im not sure about that terms above. Thank you

Hello, Im having trouble deciding what type of MUX circuit I should use, for example 2:1,4:1, etc. I was given a problem about designing a circuit on a block diagram level that performs the following math operations: RES = A + A RES = A + C RES = A + B RES = B + C The inputs A,B, and C, as well as the out put (RES), have 12-bit values. Im suppose to assume that their will be no issues or problems with carry out values. As you can see, depending on two select inputs, the single output …

Remember Lycos? One of the earlier leaders in search, it was sold to Spanish firm Terra for more than $12 billion ten years ago. This week it sold again to an Indian company, for a paltry $36 million. Ouch. That got us wondering how some tech companies seem to go so easily from standing on top of the world to the digital bargain bin.
