Hello everyone at daniweb, I've had a bit of a problem with my computer recently but managed to get it up and running earlier today. Problem is, when I had it running, a message appeared telling me it was installing my Nvidia 8800GT card. I am working on the following computer and have had a interesting thing happen. The video display for the monitor started to shimmer. It is a flat screen monitor. The name of the monitor is Samsung. I have this pink horizontal line that keeps appearing across my display when logged in my computer, starting up, and even when shutting down. I was playing a computer game(in full screen) and when my computer went into sleep mode the game froze. So, when I force quit out of the program this pink line appeared. Please help, I have no idea how to get rid of it.
