How will you use it?
Price range?
Weight? Battery life?
Operating system?

I'll use *nix OS's. and ranging from $650-700

Is DELL ok if I'll use the Laptop for Web Development? I'm new to it and I want a Laptop that will work fine and the performance well be good. thanks :)

Any laptop at all will do for web development. I find Dell to be very reliable, highly customizable and good value.
If you plan on extensive Photo/Video/Music editing you might opt for larger RAM and HD sizes.
