Hi i use an acer aspire 1640 series laptop but when i boot to windows the touch pad and keyboard stop working even though i have installed the driver for the touch pad and ke7yboard i have also formatted the hard drives but am still facing the problem what can i do?

Try to go to control panel and the touch pad properties and click the default, then re-start the pc.
