I have been looking for the some best technology that can used for Scrapping.
Currenly my project uses Perl:LWP with regex to scrape info. I find a lot of tools running under different platform. E.g. Perl HTML XML Parsers, Java, Jscript, .NET. and many many modules like Hpricot, ,Mechanize, Ruby, Ruby on rails.
Which one would be the preferred one ?

Can u tell me whether which libraries can be used in Perl for scrapping except for scrapping libraries.How can i get those libraries.
Perl LWP and Mechanize are two libraries used for scrapping.
CPAN is a complete source from where you can download and read more on libraries:
To search, download and install modules within Windows you can use command ppm at the ppm> install Perl:LWP
