i know how to build computers so i know what im doing but for sum reason im stumped! i had my computer for about 2 years and the harddrive just gave out on me a few days ago. i got a new on and put it right in to the comp., installed windows and everything was working great. for sum reason when i try to connect to the internet it doesnt even see the ethernet cord in the back. nothing to connect to the only thing there is that connect to 1349 or sumthing like that. sry i cant say exact (im in college english class right now).
sould i reset the bios b/c the slot for the ethernet cord might be disabled or what tryed to repair the connection and reset the router i have and the modem. also i tryed direct connect to the modem and still nothing! it really seems like the port isnt working or sumthing.
