Maybe there are already some good articles on this but does anyone have any opinion or experience on getting to the top of Google with a .us or .us.com domain name?

More broadly, how much does the TLD (Top Level Domain, e.g. .com, .net, .biz, .org) affect SEO?

Hi,

Generally speaking, domain suffix would not affect SEO efforts though some suffixes like .edu or .gov would appear more valuable in search engines' eyes when backlinking.
