There is an influence that by using image Meta tags you can magically boost up your web page ranking its totally wrong. Basically Meta tags are opening and closing head tags of html. These tags explain about the content of the webpage. You can use image Meta tags in two ways:
1 Create webpage for each image containing Meta tags and get them crawled by hosting them.
2 Using feed protocols to push metadata related to such content into the GSA
