Hello Friends

For one of the page of my site, a guy is ready to pay 8$/ link/ month and asking to add 8-9 links.

All these 8-9 links will pointing to the same domain. Or of i add one link he is agreeing to pay 15$/month.

What should I do ? Will it anyway hamper my page's credibility? What are the steps should I take so that the deal goes best in my favor. Please reply asap

Brief, practical guidance to evaluate a paid-link offer (building on ’s question and the replies from , and ).

Treat paid placements like advertising and control every detail. Before making a deal: ask for the exact URL where the link will appear, confirm the page is indexed and not under any manual action, inspect the site for thin content or signs of link networks, and refuse sitewide footers or widget links. Prefer one contextual link placed inside editorial content rather than multiple identical links on the same page.

Require technical safeguards. Mark any paid link so it is obvious to search engines and separate from editorial linking. Use rel="sponsored" (or rel="nofollow"/rel="ugc" where appropriate) and avoid excessive exact-match anchors. Google’s guidance on link attributes is authoritative: .

A simple example for marking a paid link:

<a href="https://their-site.example" rel="sponsored">Their site</a>

Insist on a written agreement: placement, duration, payment schedule (deposit recommended), removal clause if the buyer’s site later becomes problematic, and permission to mark the link as paid. Track clicks with analytics (use a UTM parameter or outbound-click event) so you can validate traffic and honorability. If the buyer resists transparency or won’t accept rel="sponsored", walk away. If already live, monitor Search Console for messages about manual actions and be ready to remove risky links promptly.

if i were you dont add his page eventhough he will pay you back because if in case you add them then your site in return is in danger

If the site relevant to your site, then can go for it.

Anybody know more about Google has announced it’s disapproval of paid links. They will even go as far as penalise webmasters both for selling and buying paid links. But, is it not extremely difficult to identify a paid link and even if you find one, how do you prove that this is the case?
