Email marketing IS a very effective method of advertisement, and not just for websites and web products. The reason it has gotten bad wrap is because in order for email marketing to be effective many factors need to be taken into account.
Just to give you a good example of WHY it is still effective, take for example big chain stores, like Victoria's Secret, Gap and others. Companies earn a good chunk of their sales revenue from online sales, and how do you think they reach old customers? BY EMAIL marketing. They send out email newsletters, special offers and coupons. Email marketing is direct marketing, where you are reaching the prospective client directly. But just as with any other marketing method, if you are not creative, ingenious, and offer something good to the client, they simply aren't going to buy, EVEN if you are Gap or Victoria's Secret.
SO this goes to prove that the success of an email campaign relies on much more than just sending out an email.
Email marketing is good only is you are selling a specific product... much better if you have a list of your own.... personally, I would not waste my time on email marketing without building list if I am planning long term business...
Your email marketing, whether its a regular newsletter or sporadic promotional messages are only worth doing if its going to interest your audience. You may be writing about important developments at your company - but do customers really care about them? If you feel you have to include news and information that doesn't have a direct affect on the customer experience, then make it the minor message rather than the main feature. So i think Email marketing it may be useful.
Email marketing is a topic, where opinions differ greatly, some people say that it is very useful and helps a lot, others think that it's a waist of time, what about you?
Email marketing campaign method is very successful strategy in online marketing which involves sending mails to your current customers and new peoples in order to advertise, sell, and promote your products.
It very popular and cost effective, it expands the customer relationship with your current and new customers, while comparing to other advertising, email marketing can be done at very low cost.
I think that email-marketing is very effective for today, becuase it cost less and it gives you a great opportunity to keep in touch with all your customers. But before you will start sending your emails you have to develop your strategy, to write a few variants of messages which you are going to send, maybe you should consult with some specialists, ect. First , your main goal is not be treated as a spamm, and just after your potential customers will trust you, your next aim should be to make your first sales.
That's what I think!
Best of luck!
So you have a product and have set your price. Will the world come running to your doorstep? Not unless people know about your product - you must promote it. Set the stage for sales with a thoughtfully developed promotion plan.
A promotion plan outlines the promotional tools or tactics you plan to use to accomplish your marketing objectives. To the new or inexperienced marketer, the promotion plan might be mistaken as the entire marketing plan because it outlines where the majority of the marketing budget will be spent. It is, however, just one component of the marketing plan - there are additional strategy and planning components described in a marketing plan.
You might choose to include the following components in your promotion plan:
* Description (or listing) of the promotional tactics you plan to use.
* Projected costs for the year.
* Explanation of how your promotion tactics will support your marketing objectives.
* Description of promotional adjustments for cyclical businesses, if yours is indeed cyclical.
To get a responsive list you have to develop a good enough relationship with your readers to inspire the trust required to get a better response. Or the problem could be with the ad itself. If the list is available for additional mailings, and this is the first ad you've sent them.
Email marketing provides a venue for continuous customer engagement. Email messages auto responder software, which automatically respond to email messages can be scheduled using. A common example of an auto responder office an "out" auto replies. Auto responders a tool for increasing customer engagement and positive customer service practices are applied. Auto responders are used in various ways, including a newsletter for the users received a purchase or account status or to accept a request for additional information confirmed. Auto responders by providing product information to customers through sales process, can guide offers discounted rates on purchases and add a page.
E-mail marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every e-mail sent to a potential or current customer could be considered e-mail marketing. However, the term is usually used to refer to:
* sending e-mails with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers, to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business,
* sending e-mails with the purpose of acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately,
* adding advertisements to e-mails sent by other companies to their customers, and
* sending e-mails over the Internet, as e-mail did and does exist outside the Internet (e.g., network e-mail and FIDO).
