Hi everyone. I am new here. I would like to have a discussion about how mobile app monetization makes money. Certainly, there are ways to monetize mobile app monetization. But how much money can one make through this?

A compact framework to turn "@How much can I make?" into a number. As asked and noted (ads and in-app purchases are common routes), revenue really comes down to three drivers: scale (MAU), engagement (sessions, impressions, conversion), and value-per-action (eCPM, price per subscription or IAP). Express it with two simple formulas: Ad revenue = (MAU * impressions_per_user_per_month / 1000) * eCPM and Subscription revenue = MAU * conversion_rate * avg_price.

A quick illustrative example (hypothetical): 100,000 MAU, 6 ad impressions/user/month, eCPM = $3 -> ad revenue = (1000006/1000)3 = $1,800/month. If 1% convert to a $4/month subscription -> subscription revenue = 1000*4 = $4,000/month. Combined headline = $5,800/month. Platform fees, payment commissions and UA costs shrink that headline; if CPI or CAC is high, profitability disappears fast.

Practical priorities: measure D1/D7/D30 retention and estimate average lifetime so LTV = ARPU * months_active; make sure LTV > CAC before scaling UA. A/B test price points and ad density, localize prices by market, diversify income streams, and watch platform policy and privacy (ATT/GDPR). Monetization grows with better retention and product-market fit more than with any single technique.

I guess I'm confused by your question. Do you mean how to monetize mobile apps? You can use something like AdMob to make money with in-app ads. You can also do in-app purchases, where end-users get additional benefits to the app by "upgrading". But yeah, I think what you're referring to is most likely AdMob.
