Hi there, I need to format my samsung nc10 netbook, it doesn't have the cd driver so I wonder if I can format it by running the windows cd from an external cd driver. WOuld that work or will the installation abort?

it should work ,set the boot order option to usb device/cdrom

no,if you get the option to boot from a usb device in the BIOS,or boot option [sometime found when hitting f10 or f12 on bootup ] it will not need to install usb drivers

try hitting f10 on bootup it may give you access to the factory recovery partiton
