My microphone ussally works perfectly fine, but thsi past week its been REALLY silent, but it does work. I turn the volume all the way up, and it is still really low. I really need help, thanks for reading =).

in the window$ control panel there is a wizard that does all the settings for you, it usually asks you to read a short peace of text into it first though.
