I have acer aspire 3020 laptop problem started 3 months ago screen display started to fade in bottom left of screen then ok for a week or two then returned each time lasted a little longer. now all of left side of screen fades from left to right. Got No hair left to pull out Help

In basic agreement with C_jack. Unless you've some ability to comprehend a wiring schematic of the unit, you're basically shooting in the dark with a blindfold on attempting a do-it-yourself. The lite mentioned may be easy enough, however, the rest will require the skill of a electronic tech.
