I have a Gateway solo 1450, my son had abused it with internet stuff, so I go to setup screen and do a reset, I think it was BIOS RESET. It shut down and hasn't started since I did that. With the battery in or plugged into the wall all I get is the orange battery light. I have tried pulling the battery out, and unplugging letting it set then plugging things back in and nothing works......
Could this be a virus? I didn't think that anything in the setup screen could do this to a computer.

I think you have to go to the bios and reconfigure the primary boot device as the hdd, so it will boot. If you can't even get it to post, then basically your son killed your pc!!
