DBarnwell 0 Newbie Poster

My problem is the on/off power button is not allowing the laptop to be power on/off. Will work with CMOS battery pulled, battery removed and AC Adapter plugged in. Any thoughts of what the problem might be? Maybe the 10-pin ribbon cable? or the on/off power board. Not getting the blue LED light. Works great other that not being able to power it up with the power button.
