I am looking for some hardware system that would let me filter an audio signal to just get the part i want.
I'm using a microphone to get audio input for a speech recognition project. Ideally I would like to be able to have music playing on speakers at the same time, and filter out the known audio music signal straight from a wired line to leave just the users voice.
Essentially I want to be able to do what active noise-canceling headphones do, but i want to cancel the hardwired music audio signal, instead of how the noise-canceling headphones use another microphone to pick up unwanted background noise. I need a system with 2 inputs (microphone in, and the to-cancel line) and 1 output to go to the computer to be analyzed for voice recognition.
