i have formatted and reinstalled xp pro and now have found out that i have an 80 gig instead of 40 gig hdd and cant get the partition back to 80 gig as i didnt use the hp windows anyone have an idea how i can reclaim the extra 40 gig please

Can you see the remaining 40GB in the Disk Management? If so right click on it and format it, you will then be able to use it.

no i cant see it in the disk management but only found it when i did a getdataback search
