I have a Toshiba Satellite L355D-S785 that's exactly a month old and I accidently left it on for nearly a day (I know, I know, BIG mistake.) I restarted it and it keeps saying it needs start-up repair and it can't repair it automatically. I've gotten to it to the point where I can log-in and start up a couple of programs, but then the start bar at the bottom disappears.

If someone could please help me, that would be amazing. <3

Okay. I tried it again, and now it won't even turn on.

leaving the laptop on for a day or so shouldn't hurt it un less you left it lying on the bed or something soft ,and it overheated and fried something

That's exactly what I did. .___. I left it on my bed. I usually leave it on my Bio book or something so it doesn't overheat, but I forgot.

I'm screwed.

Never mind. It turns on now. :) It wasn't plugged in properly.

Sorry 'bout that. I'm a little freaked atm.
