HI guys i need help. I've got this tribyte that picks up on the bios, but does not pick up on my computer. when i go to disk management it says disk2 unreadable. what happened was i load linux for the first time on a 80gig hdd and to test the OS i turned the machine off connected the tribyte as a secondary and i was hoping that linux would pick it up so i could watch my movies...nothing...when i went back to xp my tribyte gave me the prop i explained. i need to get my movies off there...............WHAT DO I DO???????????

What kind of a disk is it?

If it is internal, then you could try HDD regenerator. (google for it)
It is not free, apart from evaluation version which will recover only one bad sector per session, but it could spring your drive back to life.

I'm not sure if it will do the same on external drives though.
