Any ideas please.
I have an ipod classic 160. When conected using the usb lead for the first time and every time since the computer fails to find the software and download it to be able to use the ipod. It asks for the disc that came with it to be inserted , if no disc just click another box to find the software.Then the message comes up that it can't find the software. After looking at the trouble shooting pages on apple and reinstalling itunes the only thing I can see that might resolve the issue is the fact that my usb ports are 1.1 and the ipod needs 2.0 due to it's size. How can I update from 1.1 to 2.0.
One other thing I know the ipod is ok as it works on my sons laptop.
