I've installed a Tt max orb Heatsink and fan on my P4 3.2Ghz Processor and after about 2 Hrs or so, the Pc shuts off.
I've tried mounting it in different positions all with the same effect.
The only thing i can think of is it's not sitting properly or the board is flexing, causing the heatsink to slightly raise off due to it's weight. I might remove the push pins and use some nuts and bolts to hold it down, probably with a metal bracket at the back of the Mobo.
Will this help? or is there another way?

When i replace the stock H/S and fan the system runs fine.

Did you put goo on the processor? Its needed.
