Hi all, my dell laptop latitude d630, ( with udated display drivers ) will not display anything, just the lit screen. there is disk activity, the relevent lights are on, windows even boots, but there is no display. Have tried removing battery, holding down power button for 1 minute, running it on mains only, removed and re-inserted ram, all to no avail. It is a couple of years old, so is not in warranty. Am new to the forum so, any help is appreciated. :)

Hi ratz04,
Have you tried using an external monitor? Because if it does work then the problem would be the vga card. If you did try that and still had no display then I think it may be a fault RAM.
