I recently built a new system. Using a asus M4M78 Pro mobo. I installed everything fine, using a W/D 1TB sata HD with my operating system Vista 64bit. Thing is I had a second IDE HD with backed up software which I wished to use. I connected Via IDE cable but my computer does not recognise it. I added a second DVD aswell and this too is not recognised. Any help would be appreciated. slipdisc

have you tried going to BIOS whether it's detected or not? and did you set the jumper settings of your hdd / dvd to master and slave?
